May 16, 17, and 19 are our Public Book Sale dates for May 2025 (from 9am to 5pm each day).
We are continuing our experiment of being open on Monday following the book sale weekend. We don’t get lots and lots of people but it does seem to be the perfect kind of day for some of our shoppers (no crowds is a plus. 😀 ). We’ll keep doing that for the rest of this year and evaluate at the end of 2025.

Are you a mom, a grandma, or a great-grandmother?
If you have little ones in your life, you know how precious it is for them to have plenty of books to call their own, a library of favorite books to keep in their room. From snuggling with babies and toddlers, to having your kids sound our their first words to you, that special time cozied up together is priceless. We have a few ways to help you do that during this Mother’s Day month of May.
1. An extra free book for moms.
Books are always a Dollar (plus tax) at our book sales, and everyone who comes gets a free book. During our May book sale we’ll be offering moms an extra free book!
2. Pick books to send to your kids and grandkids.
Do you have loved ones that you’d like to treat? You can hand pick some books for them and we’ll ship them for you. The price comes out to around $2 per book (shipping included). Find out the details at the front counter.
3. Kids play area.
This isn’t new this year, but it IS a great help to moms and dads alike. We have a play area for little ones and a table (with a few games) for older kids to color or draw. I plan to have a bunch of coloring pages as well. Moms might just want to sit and color too!
